This short video is the individual directing project from my junior year; This is an original story.
Besides scriptwriter, I‘m also the director and colourist.
We took two days on shooting. The whole production lasts for about two months from scriptwriting to post production. Grateful to all my dedicated crew and the cast.
This is a romantic comedy about a girl tries to have a perfect date with a boy in a cafe. I manage to use color tone and delicate production design to make the audience feel happy and warm.
I hope this film not only bring laughter to the audience,
but also let them think about a question:
“Do girls need to be perfect to face the boy they love?”

This short film is my producing project; The film is filmed in Shenzhen, my hometown. I was in charge of controlling the budget as well as finding actors, locations, equipment and crew members.
We took about 5 days on shooting. The whole production lasts for about half a year from scriptwriting to post production.
I was responsible for overseeing the whole production process from start to finish. Working with the director, we cast more than 15 actors for the production.
I was also responsible to hire other crew members.
